"Hand Wreath"
I traced my 2-year-old niece's hand print and then cut out more from construction paper to make this cute little memento:

How do you explain depression
To those who don't understand?
When even those you love
Simply cannot comprehend?
I'm too tired to sleep.
I'm too tired to wake.
Going out makes me sick.
I feel myself deflate
More and more every day
In spite of all the love around me.
Even those that mean well
Make me think, "Leave me be."
A smile frozen on my face
And a laugh forced from my gut
Every day, but each night
My wrists call out to be cut.
Not because I enjoy hurting,
But because I crave feeling.
Bleeding proves I'm alive.
That so far, I've survived.
That maybe my life has some meaning.
To those who don't understand?

Simply cannot comprehend?

Cupcakes!
It's my birthday! :D
I had a small slumber party/sleepover with a few friends and I made these cupcakes:

They're lemon cake with cream cheese frosting. The ones on the left are covered in crushed Oreos, the ones in the middle with crushed graham crackers, and the ones on the left just have dyed frosting. All the decorations are pre-made so I wasn't really sure I should post this. But I think they're super cute. And they were really yummy, too!

Doodle of Garnet
I was bored at work so I doodled Garnet from Stephen Universe and because I was still bored after that, I decided to color it in. It turned out pretty good, in my opinion. XD

Indoor Fairy Garden
My Nana and her sister-in-law have been really enjoying making "fairy gardens" so when my Nana wanted to make another one, I thought it would be nice to help her out a bit. We used Styrofoam for the base and covered it in an artificial sheet of moss. There are various small statues, fake flowers, and (very small) garden decorations. It's sitting inside an antique bird cage, and there are a few small strands of Christmas lights woven into the top part of the cage. Here it is!

Minecraft Bridge with Night-Activated Lighting System
This is my bridge in Minecraft. It goes from my island palace to the mainland:
I decided that I wanted to install lights that were off in the day time and on at night, and I wanted this to be automatic in case I wasn't in my house when night fell. So I crafted a daylight sensor, with three blocks of glass, three chucks of nether quartz, and three wooden slabs, like so:
I placed this next to the redstone dust leading to the rest of the lighting system, and that took care of the most complicated part. Next, I just had to run a trail of redstone dust down the length of my bridge with the occasional redstone repeater (as shown to the left; it takes two redstone torches, one pile of redstone dust, and three blocks of smooth stone).
It's not the most efficient use of redstone due to the admittedly odd and also quite inefficient shape of my bridge, but it looks like this:
The other thing about repeaters is that you can delay the signal. I chose to set each repeater to the maximum delay because I like watching each section of my bridge light up one by one. And now my bridge is nice and lit up during the night!
The problem with this is that the sensor turns on during the day, rather than at night. So I had to construct a simple system with redstone dust and a redstone torch to tell it to do the opposite (that is, turn off during the day and on at night):

New Life, New Blog
I deleted my personal blog. This one will only be for things I create. Something in a video game, a piece of art, a short story. Things like that.
